​Princes Pier is a historic and scenic landmark located in Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Constructed between 1912 and 1915, it was originally known as the New Railway Pier and was renamed after the Prince of Wales' visit in 1920.

The pier stretches 580 meters into Port Phillip Bay and served as a major arrival point for migrants from 1915 until 1969. It also played a pivotal role in Australian trade and defense, accommodating outgoing troops and incoming migrants.

After falling into disrepair and suffering fire damage in the late 1990s, a refurbishment project was announced in 2006. The first 196 meters of the pier were fully restored, while the remaining section was left with its original pylons preserved, creating a striking visual display against the backdrop of Port Phillip Bay.

Today, Princes Pier is a popular destination for leisurely walks, fishing, and photography, offering breathtaking views of the Melbourne skyline and stunning sunsets.
